Epitheliotropic viral diseases

Foot-and-mouth disease is a highly contagious, viral disease of domestic cloven-hoofed and many wild animals characterized by erosions in the mucosa of the mouth and hooves.
Pox viral infection is worldwide disease resulting in an acute infection of all breeds of sheep and goats, caused by pox virus. Mostly affecting lambs and kids.
Rinderpest is mainly a disease of cattle and domestic buffalo, including water buffalo. Most wild and domestic cloven-footed animals can become infected. It is caused Morbillivirus.
Vesicular Stomatitis is a disease caused by vesiculovirus. Affects horses, cattle, swine, camelids and humans.
